  • I honor ur Uncle, fighting in Italy with a lite recon unit. Its a shame Gen. Mark Clark was such a horses azz. He was more concerned with his own headlines than the safety of his men. God Bless Capt. Leonard. God Bless You too Joe.

  • My 1st deployment was with the 506th in Korea. We were attached to the 2nd ID, a bunch of tough mothers, I grew up REAL fast. Camp Greaves, South Korea. Currahee!! Wat a fab job they did in Normandy. They are currently in E. A-stan, kicking azz, taking names, and back where they belong-Ft Campbell.

  • My eldest uncle, Francis Nicolardi landed on Omaha with the 29th Div. He was my idol, i loved him, and at the same time FEARED him. He was one tough s.o.b..once at 7 yrs old, I asked him "how did you kill the Germans Uncle Francy?" With that I was whirled around and a knife was put to my neck.

  • The DMZ is a spooky place..Seoul is within range of surface to surface missles, long range arty, Camp Greaves is where thousands of US troops are..so lets TRY and let sanctions, talks with China, NK work.

  • Mc Chrystal was JSOC's leader, and is an expert when it comes to counter-insurgency, guerilla warfare, and special ops. Wat Obama's team did was replace a conventional commander with a Spec. Ops one. You cut off the head of the snake, then you chew up the rest of it. Good move.

  • INDIA- remember they brought thier Su-30's to the US for wargames, supposedly w/out the AESA package, and other goodies. Israel will get the "green" soon enough, just as we will to cross into P-stan eventually.
